Venezuela has many different ethnic groups within the country. The Ethuc groups are: Spanish, Arab, Italien, Portugese, German, African, and indigenous people.
Mestizos make up 67% of Venezuela's population. This includes mixed European and AmericanIndian descent black and indian ancestry. The whites make up 21% of the population. Indians make up 2%. Balcks and Mulattos are 10% of Venezuela. There are 31 indigenous indian groups.
The religons in Venezuela include: Roman Catholic (96%), Protestant (2%), Other (2%). Roman Catholic is the official religion.
The Venezuelan culture for music is that it is spanish with indigenous themes. The Gaita is improvised rythming vocals. It includes a 14 string guitar and maracas. Venezuela is infamous in South America for being lai back. In ancient times the Carib and Arawak and the Chinda indians practiced farming. They also hunted, fished, and gathered.
Some Venezuelan foods include: pasta, rice, beans, plantains, white cheese, chicken, potatoes, fish, and corn. The arepa is Venezuela's type of pncake. It is made of white corn flour with butter, meat and cheese.
Lunch is the main meal of the day.
The flagis yellow, blue and red. The yellow is for the gold of the country. The blue is for the sea that seperates them from Spain. The red is the blood from the war that made them become independent.
The history of Venezuela is that it was discovered in the 3rd journey of Colombus (1498). The independence began in 1810. The Caribobo battle ended independence in 1821. In 1958 the democratic period began.
